Mobile Services FAQ

When will you start providing mobile services?

We aim to be fully mobile in the early months of 2026. We will be posting updates and more information soon.

 

What if my pet is having an Emergency?

In the event that your pet needs emergency care, we recommend the following hospitals:

If your pet is seen at an Urgent Care or Emergency facility, please have records sent to us to follow-up and provide continuity of care.

 

When you go mobile, will there be a house-call fee?

No! Animal House Veterinary Services will provide care for your pet without a house-call fee.

 

How much are exams?

Each pet will receive a comprehensive exam for $99.00.

 

Do I have to have a doctor’s appointment for nail trims and anal gland expressions?

No, many of these services can be completed at a tech appointment during our parked hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

 

Can I refill my pet’s prescriptions during the time of my appointment?

Yes! If you need a medication refill, we ask that you make this request when making the appointment. While we have medications in our mobile unit, the bulk of our pharmacy does not travel with us.

 

How do I refill my pet’s prescriptions?

You can request a refill by phone. All prescriptions are reviewed and verified within 24 hours. Our team will then call for payment, and the prescription will be delivered right to your door. You can also elect to refill through Chewy and other online pharmacies.

 

What areas do you service?

We will be in League City and the surrounding areas. If you are out of our zones, you can find us at our to-be-determined on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

 

How will mobile appointments work?

Once you have an appointment, we will call you when we are on our way. The mobile unit will park as close as possible to your location and call you on arrival. For safety purposes, we ask that you bring your pet to us either on a leash or in a carrier. Please knock prior to entering.

 

What if I live in an apartment complex?

That’s totally fine! We will park as close to your location as possible, or you have the option to come to us at our fixed location.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover

  • CareCredit (veterinary financing)

  • Pet health insurance plans

Insurance can help reduce the cost of veterinary care. While we don’t endorse a specific provider, we can assist with claims. Please let our staff know your provider so we can provide the best service.
